Dear all
I remember a nest we treated when I worked at the Natural History Museum
We used an atomizer to provide a light misting of a synthetic polymer in a
solvent, just to seal the loose fragments.
As a conservator, my first thought is – why does it need treating and will
improved storage be sufficient?

Hi All,

I'm researching ways to treat this object, but I am not sure if this is a wasp
nest or a hornets nest. Understanding this will help me better treat the object.

Thank you so much! Looking forward to your responses.
