Hi Lexi, I can recommend the simple usb microscope I have used for the past year; an 8megapixel «Oitez e-scope». It has a 200x zoom and captures images and video to your computer (and possibly tablet). Cost about $150.

I am starting to experiment with one to see if it works for this (and other purposes). That would also give you the option of getting a good photograph. Even a “toy” one could work.
