I will also add a vote for the Dino lite. We inherited a Dino-Lite Pro Digital Microscope, model AM413T-FVW2, which has a UV function. That might be too much for pest ID, but it’s a great tool to have in the lab.
Our Dino Lite also came to us with a stand, and it’s very handy. Our stand is limited to vertical movement only, but you can purchase horizontal arms separately, which might be nice when examining sticky traps.
