I have been tinkering with a Joomla setup as a potential replacement for the PLUG web site.
Just wanted to say that the new site is a great step forward, although you'll be aware already from the comments here so far that the devil is in the detail; getting the design right will be a tough one. But if we can get content sorted that would be a great start, so to that end does anyone have ideas as to what content is needed, and/or have time to write it?
A good starting point would be more info about the meeting venue (how to find it etc), and since the page is already there that's quite easy to build on. But what should the PLUG website actually be saying? There's no point just repeating information elsewhere; it should really focus on Linux/FOSS use/promotion/support/etc in the Peterborough area. Any case studies we can work on?
