Yes I have a server setup with Apache 2.0, ModJK 1.2.18, Tomcat 5.5.
I have a problematic jsp page, but my difficulty is understanding why
the problem only occurs when A. the client is a vista machine and B,
when the request is being made through modjk. Oh and C. Only when using
the HTTP protocol, HTTPS is not a problem.
What happens is when I make a request to the JSP from a Vista
workstation, the transfer begins, then slows down.. and progessively
slows until it stops. Sounds Odd ??? It is very odd...
The problem is not specific to one browser either, I can make the
requestusing I.E. Firefox, or even telnet ! and the behaviour is the
same, BUT only when its from the vista machine and the request is going
through modjk.
If I make the request direct to tomcat, i.e. via port 8080 its fine.
Everything else delivered on the site via modjk has been ok, just this
one jsp. Which leads me to think there is something in the content which
is screwing with modjk. The content in question is a load of user
details, but in an encrypted form so it looks like garbled text. Just
one long string of garbled text. About 50k worth.
