Two very important things to note:

        1. *READ* the README file. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200. It
includes EVERYTHING you'll need to know to deploy dspam properly. I made
the mistake of setting it up by skimming through the README looking for
the "quick setup" instructions, and I really screwed up. Following it from
top-down, reading the entire file, made a huge difference.

        2. Do not run dspam on any mail or against any mailboxes unless
you fully train it first with the ham/spam corpus. This is a necessary
step, if you want quality results from your anti-spam filter. I've seen
installations go wildly out of control because they either didn't train it
at all, or they trained it on a huge mailbox of spam, and not ham. You
need an equivalent pile of both. There are corpuses out there to use for
exactly this purpose. Use them.
