In that case I'll give Ubuntu-Server (32-bit) a go with Postfix and
Dspam and see how I get on. It's about time I set something like this up
rather than just relying on an ISP to do it for me. I'll print out the
dspam readme for some bedtime reading.

You're probably right, but I don't know what I'm doing or how to
configure it properly!

I have played with sendmail in the past so have some passing familiarity
with the configuration, but Postfix seems like a fashionable choice
these days. And I'm not one to argue with fashion!
