Richard Have a look at the following website: http://www.cowonglobal.com/ These are multi platform as well as supporting a range of codecs - even ogg and I think flac (not 100% sure about flac though). They work with Amarok (most should do). I've been considering changing my iPod for an iAudio7 or the Cowon D2. The best thing about these is not only do you get the internal storage of the player, it also has a card slot so you can extend the storage capacity! My only grip about the units are the limited internal storage but I figure this will grow in time though. To me, this is what the iPod should have been!
