I agree that a few of them are a bit pricey but they do include full
Linux support.  I'm unsure about the GPL code with the Cowon players.
As for the Archos, I was considering this a while back but to me they
were a bit large (I know, I'm being picky here but for me something that
is compact with lots of features is Ideal).  Another Cowon Player to
consider is the Cowon iAudio A2!  It is a bit pricey but boy is it good!
Would it hurt to say that I was on Commission? :)

I was considering these but they look a bit pricey and looking at some
reviews on Amazon, it sounds like the support isn't too great in the UK.

I'm not on commission, honest, but I just discovered that the Archos 4
and
5 series also use GPL'd code, the source of which is available for
download from their website.
