After getting some re-assurances from Tony Vroon, I am going to (cheekily)
go Back to PC World and see if I can find the Zen player that I took back
into the shop, in the discounts section.

Don't worry - if I recognise the packaging I will offer to pay them the full
price again (so long as they honour the three year insurance plan) LOL it
would just be funny to see how much they reduced it to.

I will test it again and give feedback to Tony, and if I cant get it to work
in Ubuntu under gnomad2 I will live with using Windows to synch it until the
January meeting, Tony is convinced it should work, and as he used to work at
Creative, thats a pretty good indication that it will be supported in one
way or another. it was a really nice player actually, and the other Main
reason I went for the Creative Zen is for the DivX support.
