Jaguar is a transaction server. Jaguar can be used in a nob web application
(yes Virginia, dispite the media, there are still non web apps!).
PowerDynamo is a web page server.

Your (non visual) components reside in Jaguar. Your clients (i.e. browsers,
PB/VB/C++ apps) communicate with your components through Jaguar. You web
apps need to take a hop through PowerDynamo to get to Jagaur.

I have very limited experience with both Jaguar and PowerDynamo. It is my
understanding from the community that at this time, it is not advised you
use PFC in Jaguar/web apps because of PFCs reliance on gnv_app.

I would visit the SDN for more info. There are a ton of white papers out
there.
