You may not need to re-write it.  They way I see it, PFC is primarily a
presentation foundation class.  Your first step is to identify what
processing belongs in an NVO.  The more you look, the more you will find.  A
lot of data validation can go in a business rule with the datawindow as a
parameter, order processing and things like that are obvious places for
NVOs.

Once you have the NVO with no visual parts to it (messageboxes, calls to
open windows, etc), find out what peices of the PFC it uses.  Things like
the string service are easily converted to non-PFC NVOs.

Once you have this, you're set.  Jaguar can manage these components.

Then you'll want to move all the update logic to Jaguar.  Retrieve logic can
be moved over incrementally.
