I like to save the old finish on my machines whenever possible. I have a
number of solutions I use which can revive most finishes. I have a Columbia
console that hasn't responded to any of my techniques and I guess I'm going
to have to refinish it. I've been putting it off because Columbia consoles
are not the that desirable and I don't want to spend too much time on it I
don't want to use commercial paint remover to strip it because I find it
removes the top coat as well as the stain and the filler in the wood. I'm
looking for a product that will take off the top coat but leave the filler
and stain. Can anyone recommend a product that will do this?
