Summary
I have here a GEM Edison Phonograph made in Rochester New York by the Mackie
Music Co. The patent numbers on the unit go up to 1898, so I am figuring that
the phongraph is certainly c. 1899 or1900. This item comes with all the
trimmings! I have the original horn AND stand. The original key is here. The
box is in very good condition . Included are 9 music disks...upbeat music...a
number of marching band stuff. Email me if you want to know what is here.
You'll note that there are ten dicks..one is empty. The unit needs a needle and
the drive belt is a Ruby Goldberg and needs to be replaced. Horn and stand are
nice...very few dings. You can't go wrong at the opening bid! These guys are
hard to find in any condition...this one is NICE! Buyer pays $20.00 S&H;
including insurance. Your money order would be best type of payment.
