Thanks again, guys, I really appreciate all the help.  Do the Victrola or
lateral adapters usually tilt 90 degrees to allow for playing Path?s as
well, like a lot of standard phonos (Sonoras, for example)?  I have a Hughes
stylus, but its shank was angled too narrowly to install it into my Victor
Orthophonic reproducer, so I can't say from experience if it works well or
not.

That's one - they might be called anything, by sellers.  A common brand-name
on these is KENT, and those usually sound good & are easy to fix.
