You all know I've been in the market for a functioning cylinder phono for some time now... I don't care at all about its cosmetic condition as long as it runs reliably and sounds good. I'd prefer a machine that plays both 2 and 4 minute, but since I've never collected cylinders and only have a few, I'd be fine with a phono that only played one or the other... The most important factor is cost, however, as I can't afford to spend more than $200 - $300 (thus my lack of concern over its visual condition).
Is this machine worth it? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6574012330&ssPageName=ADM E:B:EF:US:1 And would anyone with such a machine for sale kindly contact me off-list if it's not? (Come to think of it, even if it is. I need options.)
