My cassette player in my 1927 Essex never skips. It will modulate just a bit
on real rough roads. I also have external speaker under the car and a switch
to change the sound from inside to outside. This is great for parades! I
play roaring twenties big band sounds mostly but always play Sousa
recordings for military events/parades.
When I drive through the small towns I attract attention by turning up the
outside speakers with 1920s tunes and all the children run out looking for the
ice cream man..... Get's a lot of grins from the grownups.

Sincerely.

Actually, if there is such a thing as a rare Victor IV :) this is it. It's
the only one I have ever kept in my collection. It should have a Victor O
reproducer on it though.
