Art: you are quite right on all counts. Don't get me wrong, I did love that Morgan. We actually built our home with large French doors so I could put it on display in the middle of our home, inside. We would have dinner parties and put the top down on the Morgan and place a piece of plywood over the front and rear seats and use that platform as a serving area for food. Great fun. That's a great idea! We're going to have our next dinner party in the garage! Now...let's get back to phonographs...I've been discussing the workings of a coin-op German phonograph with Ken Dankaert and I know he has worked on some of your (Bob Johnson's) coin-ops. Do you (or anyone) have a German coin-op disc machine with a working coin-op mechanism? I've recently acquired an almost basket-case machine and I've ALMOST got the coin-op parts working. But the release mechanism at the governor has me stumped. I need to look at another. Unfortunately, there is no real brand on the machine except for "Topofox" on the reproducer. If anyone has anything like this, please let me know. Thanks, Art Heller ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
