    Funny that you mention my name as the first one in the list.
    I've been known for arguing for completely shutting down
    commit access to release branches and to give absolute
    control to the "release master" who is then responsible for
    applying only well-tested bug fixes.  Unfortunately, this
    conservative approach is not too popular around here.
