Hang in there Denise: I had a Pituitary Macroadenoma resected 2 yrs ago and it grew back. All the doctors and all the literature I have read imply that if the tumor grows back, you will eventually need to radiate it to stop it. You can continue to torment yourself with multiple surgeries. I decided not to. I recently had CyberKnife radiation for my tumor remnant that was growing again. I am waiting for the post radiation MRI - another month or so. You can live with this. I feel better now than I did before the original surgery. Hormone supplements are not as scary as I originally thought - in fact they make me feel better. Barry |
