Hi Denise:
I'm Kathryn, a panhypopituitary patient, age 61 from Roanoke, VA.  I don't get a chance to write to the forum too much, but I just had to reach out to you after reading your message.  I could really sense how frightened you must be regarding your pituitary.  I'm sure you had a most positive outlook since having the earlier surgery and now the darn thing may be returning!  I hope more than anything that this is not what is really going on, but I know how frustrating it is to have to wait for the next MRI.

Is there a chance that you could get an earlier MRI, say after two months instead of three?  Then maybe you could get any further treatment done with before the June wedding rolls around.  I know you must be really looking forward to your daughter's big day, as I remember how much I looked forward to my own daughter's wedding in 1999.  It seems like just yesterday, except now I have three grandkids!

My life has been full of loss and tragedy as well and I know how another burden stacked on top of an already huge pile of painful experiences is pretty demoralizing.  To give just a hint as to what has happened to me - my present non-working pituitary gland resulted from massive head trauma which I received from my first spouse, an abuser of the first order.  I could go on, but you get my drift.  I just wanted to let you know that there is someone just and e-mail away who has a ready shoulder if you need one.

Take good care of you....

Kathryn
