Hi KathrynJay,
Thank you for taking the time to reply to my posting. I have an appointment with my neurologist on Dec 30. After my last talk with hime last week , I also thought of asking him to do another MRI within 2 month frame instead of 3-4 months.
If it is another tumor - then he will send me back to Seattle. We don't have any neurosurgeons here - we don't even have a cardiologist in Fairbanks. If someone has a heart attack - they go to FMH, they stabilize the patient and Air Evac to Anchorage.
Could you image having a heart attack then having to fly out , if in winter, at 40-60 below in a whiteout. That would give me a heart attack right there. ----So much for that tidbit.
I am anxious to get things resolved- I can't wait for my daughter's wedding. She is getting married to a Pediatrician- my daughter is a Nurse Anesthesiologist herself.

I give you hugs from here about your hard life and can relate more than I would like to admit. I am a life long survivor of physical and mental abuse. (Father to exhusband)
I served in Viet Nam , did several tours on the Medical Evacs. Was in a chopper that crash after picking up wounded  at a Fire Base. Out of 7 of us I was one of three that survived. So we can cry and share on each other shoulders - both of us could really need it - if you know what I mean.
I did get remarried 7 years ago up here in Alaska but he is gone for months at a time, and it can be hard when one is in a health crisis.

You know- since I just started into Pituitary Chat there has been such an outpouring of care and kindness. I have never meet such a warm welcome from strangers in my life- it has touched my heart. So thank you and all the others.

Got to run have my critters to tend to.
Please stay in touch
