New Message on Pituitary Chat confused Reply   Reply to Sender   Recommend Message 1 in Discussion From: palmadore I am new to this but have been diagnosed with a pituitary tumor, I was in shock at my doctor's appointment that I am going back again tomorrow with my sister in law so she can help me ask questions.  My tumor is about 1 inch and I am scheduled for surgery Feb. 24.  The tumor was found by an MRI after I had aother tests to rule out a clogged artery (SP) I am having double vision mainly in my left eye.  Althhough I am on line late tonight, if you know of questions I need to ask my doctor, I would sure appreciate it.  I remember vaguely him mentioning the tumor may be around the carotid or in the sinus cavern (?).  He will do the surgery though the nose and says I will be in ICU 1-3 days and in hospital another 1-2 days.  I am so glad I found this due to Laura who had her surgery Jan. 26.  Any thought or help anyone can offer will be so appreciated.  Thanks, palmadore.
