Hi Pammy = I hope you and Meri communicate openly because I am interested in your comments. I have cystic tumors (Kaiser thinks) This is my fourth year of the knowledge of them - actually there are two - 1 = cm and 1 about 5 mm. Kaiser thinks it might be Rathkes cleft, but they aren't sure. They don't want to operate and I think because if they don't get it all, it grows twice as fast. I have insomnia which is my worst problem, then in order of discomfort, surges of tension for no reason, it's like adrenal type of tension that can occur at any time, just sitting watching TV, I get very tired by 4:00 and have swollen eyes and look bad. And I have headaches. I take 90 mg Armour thyroid; just started 5 mg Estradiol, and take 2.5 Klonopin at night when I awaken, to go back to sleep. I am 66 years young and walk and do Yoga and keep a good weight. Had all my fillings removed and regret huge expensive dental procedure which is still in progress after 8 months, but it might have helped my headaches, not sure yet. My doctor called 2 weeks ago with the results of the annual MRI and said "it doesn't appear that there have been any changes" I asked "how big are they now?" He said he didn't know, he would have to put it in the computer, but unless I was having visual symptoms just wait until next year. I asked for tests and he said "what have you been reading?" I said "I've learned a lot from the internet" and he said "just leave it to the medical people." I asked how many pituitary surgeries he had done and he said" Lots", I said "how many?" He said probably 100. So you see I know what frustration with doctors is. And I hope you continue to share what you learn openly so people like me can benefit too. I sent my MRI to LA last year and the pituitary surgeon agreed that it looked okay to wait. So maybe when this dental work is over, I will send it there again. Maybe Oregon will evaluate your MRI. I live in Sacramento. All the best to you Dixie
