My guess would be that they will just watch and wait for a while, as Minnie has said. These tumours usually grow very slowly. My partner had a big one too - they didn't get it all in the first operation which was 8 years ago - the remnants continued to grow at about 1mm a year [not causing any obvious symtoms] - they operated again 6 weeks ago [he seems almost completely recovered] and the neurosurgeon thinks they got it all this time. Make sure you have doctors who specialize in the pituitary as experience is very important. I have found these boards to be a great help and I hope you will too. Take care.
