It's probably not a great idea for a patient to give recommendations as each individual goes through their own mental and physical needs and these should be dealt with one on one with medical professionals. However it helps when some options are narrowed down so I'm happy to share some of the research I did so you can explore these options along with others. Lots written about him and you might consider checking himn out. Dr Martin Weiss is apparently world reknown and he has been grooming a Dr Charles Liu - he's another one you may want to look at. UCLA Medical Center has some specialists as does Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles - they both have their own websites. I recently came across this doctor http://drjho.com/index.htm - only know him via the website - but seems like a good place to get some info on techniques used. I'm sure there are excellent doctors in Canada - but you should learn about the techniques they use (I can highly recommend the fully endonasal approach because of the quick recovery, etc) It is a good idea to get recommendations from other doctors especially endocronoligists. After you are aquainted with the various techniques currently employed by the medical profession you can make a checklist of things important to you and then I suggest meeting the doctors on your short list, asking them questions about their techniques and making the final decision only after a one on one with each. Don't be afraid to interview them - it's your life. Good luck. |
