Yes,- there is a condition called 'Fibro-Fog' (Wether you have Fibromyalgia or not) that affects the cognitive functions in several key areas- It's very frustrating for sure. There are several nutrients specifically for improving brain function thaT will help slightly, but not fully. This Fibro-Fog seems to affect pit patients as well from what I've been reading. I'll post a list of the effects of 'Fibro-Fog' & most of them will probably be familiar to you:
 
1: Difficulty with simple calculations 2:Word finding difficulty 3:Using wrong words 4:Difficulty expressing ideas in words 5: Slowed speach 6:Stammering or stuttering 7:Impaired ability to concentrate 8:Easily distracted during taks 9: Difficulty paying attention 10:Difficulty following conversation when background noise is present 11:Losing train of thought mid sentance 12:Difficulty w/ short term memory 13:Difficulty putting tasks or things in proper sequence 14:Forgetting how to do routine tasks 15:Difficulty with long term memory 16:Difficulty concentrating on and understanding what you read 17: Switching left to right 18:Reversal of numbers/words as you speak 19:Reversal of words or numbers when you type/write 20:Difficulty remembering names of objects/people 21: Difficulty following simple written instructions/complicated instructions 22: Difficulty following simple spoken instructions/complicated instructions 23: Poor judgement 24: Difficulty making descisions 25: Difficulty putting ideas together to form complete picture or concept 26: Difficulty following instructions while driving 27: Becomming lost in familiar locations when driving/ and or walking/riding 28:Feeling too dissoriented to drive
