Long Term Radiation FX?

I've read diffferent things about the long term effects of having radiation. Some things say that it is almost a positive that other pituitary functions will deteriorate and eventually the pituitary will not function (full hormone replacement is needed). Others say that it may not. I'm sure there is no absolute, but does anyone have some input that has gone through radiation a long time ago. I had radiation about 2 years ago; stereotactic - 5 1/2 weeks, 5 days a week- tumor is still there, hasn't shrunk since surgery/radiation (was 6cm and is now about 4cm). It's a prolactinoma, and so far I'm only on thyroid, testosterone, and DDAVP for diabetes insipidus for hormone replacement (plus Dostinex) . Just wondering, wanted some 1st hand experiences to get a feel of what is possibly in store for me. Thanks for the input!
