Tina,   I'm really happy that  you and your  husband have made a choice you 
both feel good about.  I know your husband has done quite a bit of research on 
surgeons before you selected Dr S.   Consider asking him to give you the name 
of one of the endos he works with so you can talk with them before your surgery 
so you're prepared with scripts, after care instructions etc.  You know 
husbands arn't always good with the details, and once you're out of surgery 
you'll be too groggy to remember.   I think the advise that's been given to you 
is good.  These are tough decisions to make especially when you're sick.  I'm 
sure everyone  here joins me in supporting you through your sugery and post-op. 
 There's great info on post-op care and what to expect on the cushings website 
that would be worth your while to read through.  Here's the link to that site.
