When I decided not to carry on with the meds etc that the endo wanted to. My wife couldnt understand where I was coming from. I felt like the side effects of the med , radiation , surgery were a lot worse than the symptoms I had. I couldnt talk to my endo , He said that he knew what he was doing and he would do what was best for me and that was all I needed to know. I went and got my hospital records and found that he had almost forced the surgeon to do the operation. despite him knowing it was going to be unsuccessful. The doctors seem to think that they have suceeded if they get you to live a bit longer. and it doesnt seem to matter about life quality. I am not unhappy with the decision I made. I do sometimes think what if , would my life be better or worse, some things still worry me. but as I said my life seems pretty good compared to many others.
