I will not refer to it as "phantom smells" and really don't like that term. Most of the time household members will confirm what I am smelling at some point later, once they are in closer proximity to the odor. I can always tell when my upstairs neighbor has cleaned her coffee pot with vinegar. No one else in my household can smell it, but it's a distinct odor for me and I can identify it. These smells are REAL and I just seem to be able to sniff them out prior to most everyone else around me. I can understand tho if one has transphenoidal surgery how that can likely affect your alfactory senses, considering the burning/cauterizing they do in there. Also, Dostinex has been reported to affect sinuses.
