We get to a panic in vfs_mountroot, even machines that aren't affected
by that bug. Why do I have a feeling that IPS and image-update is
broken and not the repository and will take to 10+ emails to get it
resolved (look at the length of this thread).
There were many, many kernel boot-issue related bugs in recent builds
after build 118. I'm not sure why you're so quick to conclude that it
is pkg(5) specific.
