I was thinking that perhaps, once we get a richer local history mechanism, we could name the snapshots to associate them with an event in the history. Right now the timestamps could be used, but they don't actually match -- they're recorded at different times, and pkg history spits them out in the local timezone, while the snapshots appear to be in UTC.
