Not really, The Sort info field are deleted if the DB are backuped to the PC, but maybe not always, so its not a save place to store infos. The Reason i suggested to not write a sort info Block, but use the Info (sort info Block present) if the DB are parsed (read) outside the PalmOS is thats maybe possible that a Sortinfo Block are there.
