Alexander, We've discussed this ad nauseum in the past on this list (continuous pages, rather than fragmentation), and have never reached consensus on an acceptable design. If you'd like to re-read that discussion, and describe your design, we could re-open that discussion.
I, for one, would love to see continuous pages -- I think it's the big missing piece. But I wouldn't want to get into it without having some design for doing it that everyone will accept and work on.
