At the moment all discussion of how useful this sort of feature would be is speculation. There would certainly be an audience, but does anyone know how big that audience would be compared to those who scroll manually with the stylus or buttons? Has any usability testing been done on reading from a _modern_ PDA-sized screen? As far as I can find there have only been usability tests on older PDAs such as http://iet.open.ac.uk/pp/a.m.kukulska-hulme/PDAsBirmingham.htm - these are of historical interest as the poor screen resolution and contrast available at the time were the main factors in readability.
