Don't wait! You should "sign-up" ASAP as this is just a pre-registration (you dont pay anything). They will (I believe) just take your info and test your line quality/distance and let you know what speeds may be available to you... Only after that do you sign-up for a plan and start paying anything, only if you want to... Plus it will give BSNL an idea of the demand for good broadband. There is a online form at www.bsnl.co.in (click the broadband banner at the top) which you can submit but I would recommend going to the phone exchange and filling out a paper form... There was a news article in TOI on Sat, Dec 11 2004, page 3 that listed 10 exchanges: Bajirao road, Bhavani peth, East St, Airport Rd, Maharishi Karve exch (Nal Stop), Model Colony, Chandra Bhavan building (pimpri), Bhosari MIDC, Shivajinagar and Veer Savarkar Bhavan. I went to my Hadapsar exchange and they told me to go to Bhavani peth to get the form and submit it there... > Have you enquired about the availability in your area? We've been waiting so freaking long (over 2 yrs for me), whats a few more weeks/months? It will be just mind-blowing to finally have a 256/512k/1mbps link at your fingertips, my fingertips are twitching uncontrollably in anticipation already 8-P Happy New Year!
