roi, you are really confuse :-> any operating system as long supports any
protocol that can be routable can be use for wan. tcp/ip and ipx/spx are
routable protocols.  one good example of a non routable protocol is m$
netbeui therefore it cannot be use for wan unless you encapsulate it with
other routable protocols. :->
