yes thats true and besides if you want to go all the way for opensource, linux is
not the only way solution.
freebsd, openbsd and netbsd are opensource also and can run X too. i can even
pinpoint what features of those opensource OSes that linux doesnt have or cannot
outperform those features or trying to level those features.
as i said before to this list, every OSes have its own strenght and weaknesses.
dont you ever know that linux kernel developers are copying some codes from BSD's
code? :->
dont you ever know that other opensource OS community is telling that linux sucks
the way linux community is telling that m$ windows sucks? :->
