1. We need newbies to grow. Without newbies, there wont be GURU. Meaning, lets avoid anything that will reduce the number of potential Linux users by removing anything that will scare them away or gave them a wrong impression that PLUG is elite. Even, if some of you does not agree, the surrounding environment in PLUG really looks elitist not just bcause of some people, but because of the rules itself being implemented that has a negative impact.
2. Pinoy Newbies are introduced to Linux through "PLUG" and not PLUG-Newbies. Which will always create problems to the existing rules.
3. Its not the fault of "newbies" to post in PLUG. Its the existing settings (which is already made popular outside) which does not coincide with the PLUG msgboard rules .Newbies should not be blamed or be always redirected forever to another list. This have to be corrected because obviously, something is wrong with it (Its like the list will always have problem as long as there is newbies).
4. Its harder to introduce "PLUG-NEWBIES" to outside world. Its already made popular and Imagine encouraging a friend to join plug-newbies to learn linux , it will be better to encourage them to PLUG group and if they want to learn. And if they want to learn more than standard things, It will be more proactive to tell them to join to PLUG-Advance.
5. As of now, there are only two solutions (please correct me if I am wrong), This is either creating PLUG-ADVANCE or Unified PLUG. But, something has to be decided to put 1 and 2 problem solved.
6. I think this can be handled in by the people in the organization. But if not, I say we vote!
