I don't think we've made a habit of 'shying away'. In fact, one thing
I think we have to watch out for is the prospect of being too
reactionary. Every anti-Linux article on Cross Country Code is
guaranteed to get a rise out of PLUG - but we can't always be
_reacting_, you know? I'm very glad that the board of directors and
the other PLUG people are proactively doing things. =)

The best way to reach people is through good, visible work. People
around the country are quietly advocating FOSS, and I think that's a
heck of a lot better than fighting FUD with FUD. That's what ego-less
advocacy is about - rising above mudslinging and instead focusing on
results. Dominique's suggested doing positive PR as well. I think
that's great!

I really don't think there are a lot of quitters on PLUG. After all,
considering how tough it is to do Linux in a Windows world, you've
gotta have a certain amount of chutzpah to even be into Linux. =)
