Actually, there is...

On WHM, go to Main -> Server Configuration -> Tweak Settings

Then just tick the MySQL 5 option on the MySQL box. You may need to
run Apache Update again. There are also additional instructions there.

actually i've done this already , i upgraded first the mysql to version 5
using the tweak settings and rebuilt apache and php using the apache update,
however i'm having a hard time migrating from our local servers the sites to
be hosted by that CPanel/WHM server. i created users to manage each
domain/site however i can't import the mysql database from the local server
to the cpanel server. either via phpmyadmin or mysql command line there is
always an error. command line produces mysql_fix_privileges error and
phpmyadmin says duplicate table. dunno what to do.
