hosting with PLDT is only good if **ALL** your target audience is using PLDT's 
network.  If there are on Globe or Digitel or other ISPs with no/slow/thin-pipe 
interconnection with PLDT, it is better to host it in the US.

btw the reason i asked if PLDT has VPS is because my sites have a local target

I'm at rimuhosting.com at the moment (recommended by migs), and i'm fairly ok 
with them, although its starting to get expensive. If anyone has comments re 
rimu I'd appreciate that as well.
