And, they barely work as far as I can see. I'm out of that loop already, perhaps Orly knows more about the state of PH IP connectivity. :) Hopefully the PH Open IX does something about our sorry situation. As for PLDT, they don't even offer PHP/MySQL shared hosting, do they? Perhaps if there's a market, somebody could rent rack space at PLDT then operate their own VPS host. As for my own hosting, I'm very happy with rimuhosting and upgraded to their quarter VPS (4 Xen instances per Core 2 Duo box). I get 1 GB mem and 20 GB disk for $90. I use it to run my personal Java app server experiments.
