With electricity, not anymore.  With the advent of Unbundled Rates brought
about by the EPIRA Law, Residential electricity consumers account for more
line losses because they're at the "end of the line" so to speak.  The lower
the voltage, the greater the line loss.  This is the reason Transco/NPC
transmit electricity at 238,000Volts (to minimize line losses).

There is system loss component on our electricity bills and residential
consumers pay a higher premium for it, and this also affects the E-VAT for
system losses.
Despite the Power-Act Reduction of P0.30/kWh, residential consumers pay
higher for power compared to the commercial consumers.
