In one of our offices, we're paying somethink close to 9T/mo for a 2Mbps PLDT Biz DSL Jr. Performance is ok naman. It goes down every now and then, but users hardly notice most of the time because the line goes back up shortly afterwards. And they're more responsive when it comes to their call center -- compared to residential/consumer subscribers calling. ;-)
You should talk to your building administrator. Usually, PLDT don't charge them for installing equipment on the premises. Other ISP though pay "rent". We have been in talks with Megamax ISP for a condo building. They'll charge subscribers something like 4T/mo for a 2Mbps line. --- mike t. ----- Original Message ---- From: Danny Ching <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Technical Discussion List <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, December 14, 2007 7:45:27 AM Subject: Re: [plug] Fast broadband connection (Fort Bonifacio Area) That's what i keep telling our general services. They say kasi commercial daw ang line kaya 4k for a stinking 500kbps. is this true? anyone from PLDT or SMART here? Pag 700kbps 11k DAW! TEN TIMES more expensive and still slower than my house connection?!
