Indeed, you are right Sir Jerome.

PCLinuxOS is a metadistro or rolling release so I just have to be faithful
to the repos and just update and update whenever needed.

As for the LTS, I don't think that the kernel are being updated.  Only point
updates. (I think!)

Back to d3amon, Ubuntu would be great but you might also want to try
PCLinuxOS just for comparison.
