hi niels, because of our corrupt politicians there in the philippines and keep on selling basic services to private companies (privatization)... letting private companies managed basic services will definitely rise the cost of it for the reason that the main goal of private companies having a business is to increase profit...
this is one of the reasons why investors and other big companies are moving away from the philippines and move their business to other cheap neighboring asian countries... fooler.
