Ah - that sounds like what my ioGear does.  If you push the switch
quickly, it switches only the video, for video monitoring.  If you
push and hold for 3(?) seconds, it switches all the ports.  That
is valuable behavior in some circumstances.  Probably not yours,
not for my wife, either.

Since this behavior is common but not universal, and not
advertised, it is a Real Good Idea to download the manuals
and evaluate before buying.  I'm guessing that any advice
we could give you about our own KVMs (likely no longer
being made) won't help you much with the stuff for sale
now.  However ... as of a week ago, Free Geek had some
Belkins that have the behavior approximately like you want.
They are buttonless - you switch them with the Scroll Lock
key on the keyboard  ( [SL] [SL] [1] or [SL] [SL] [2] ).
But don't trust me, check the manual first!
