   True. At the clinic I'll install the file on the removed hard drive ...
when I figure out how to run installpkg on one machine but have the file(s)
installed on an external hard drive. Then I can run diagnostics on it.

   A couple of months ago I upgraded from Slackware-14.0 to -14.1 on that
machine and there were no issues of mounting or using the optical drive.
